About us
Whimsey Woods Play Café is a place of community — a warm, welcoming indoor play space rooted in imagination, movement, and togetherness, inspired by the beautiful rural Maine we call home. A place grounded in play, built with care, and meant to take root alongside the families who walk through its doors. Whimsey Woods is a center for playful joy and exploration while focusing on community building amongst those of the community who often are the most isolated in such a rural location. With neighbors sometimes upwards of a mile apart, there is a lack of the ideal village in raising children due to the separation of space which we are looking to correct.
